About Oskari
My path, my practice, and the deeper why

My Journey into Psychotherapy
I was drawn to psychotherapy through a deep curiosity about what it means to be human. While studying medicine, I realized early on that I was more fascinated by human connection than machines or medications. That realization marked the beginning of my path toward mental health and the healing arts.
After earning my medical degree and working as a general practitioner, I began to sense something unique in how I connected with patients. That intuitive feeling—an ability to truly meet people—led me to specialize in psychiatry and begin formal training in psychotherapy.
This journey has been both professional and deeply personal. My commitment to this work is rooted in a desire for holistic understanding, shaped by years of spiritual exploration, inner inquiry, and devotion to the path of healing—both my own and that of others.

What This Work Means to Me
Being a psychotherapist is not just a job—it is a calling. It’s an expression of my soul, an ongoing mirror for my own growth and a way to give back to life the blessings I’ve received.
Therapy, to me, is a sacred space. A place where compassion, presence and clarity meet. A space where truth can emerge safely. I see my role as a guide who helps others meet themselves fully and walk toward healing—not by fixing or solving, but by making room for the natural unfolding of insight, compassion and transformation.
How I Work
I work with a fearless but gentle presence, encouraging clients to be their full, authentic selves—even in the face of vulnerability, shadow or pain. My approach is rooted in compassion, courage and the understanding that real change begins when we meet ourselves with kind eyes and without judgment.
I’ve spent years cultivating my capacity to hold space—listening deeply, responding with care and staying present with what arises. I believe that the therapist’s presence is just as important as their technique, and that it’s through authentic relationship that real transformation becomes possible.
I am trained and licensed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and also work with Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed principles and other integrative approaches that support meaningful, lasting change.

Beyond Technique: A Spiritual Dimension
My work is inseparable from my inner path. For years, I’ve walked alongside the wise wolf—a spiritual guide within me, made of light, with clear blue eyes and a playful, compassionate presence. This image appeared clearly when I decided to start my private practice, and it continues to inform the heart of my offering.
Through this lens, therapy becomes not just a clinical process, but a sacred one—a portal through which light, awareness and healing can enter the world.
What Sets My Work Apart
I offer more than a technique—I offer myself. With compassion, curiosity and honesty, I create a space where clients feel safe enough to face even the most avoided parts of themselves.
My work is informed not only by formal training, but by the vast tapestry of life experience: joys and losses, shadow and grace, spirit and science. I bring my whole self into the therapeutic relationship, so that you can do the same.

If You’re Curious to Work Together...
I invite you to bring your whole self—your fears, your questions, your longing for something deeper. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be willing to begin and look within.
