These Terms of Service apply to all psychotherapy, consultation and educational services provided by Wise Wolf Therapeutics / Terapiapalvelut Viisas susi Oy (“we,” “our,” or “the practice”), as well as to the use of our website and booking system. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the terms below.

2. Services Provided
We offer the following services:
Psychotherapy sessions (online and in-person)
Kela-supported rehabilitation therapy (for individuals aged 16–67)
Consultations, trainings, and lectures upon request
Group therapy (planned for future implementation)
All therapeutic work adheres to Finnish professional regulations, ethical guidelines and relevant laws on data protection, private health care and patients’ rights.
Please note: My availability is limited to approximately 40-45 weeks per year for all bookings.
3. Booking & Payment
Sessions are booked, managed and billed via Brightlife Flow, our online booking and electronic health record system, accessible at flow.brightlife.fi with strong authentication.
You can check the session availability on the contact page or inquire by email or phone.
If a session is available and mutually agreed upon, you will receive an invitation link to create your Brightlife Flow account. From there, you can view booked sessions, join online sessions, message your therapist, complete questionnaires and update your details.
If no sessions are available, you may join the waiting list. When sessions open up, clients will be notified on a first come, first served basis.
Clients agree to the current session fee at the time of booking (see “Pricing”).
Kela-supported clients must have a valid rehabilitation therapy decision and contract in place. The system automatically deducts Kela’s share and clients pay only their co-payment. Self-paying clients are responsible for the full session fee.
Invoicing:
Invoices are sent monthly by email (from the address registered in Brightlife Flow, unless another payer is specified, e.g., parent or insurance).
Invoices are issued on the last day of the month with a 14-day payment term.
If payment is delayed, the client will be contacted with a reminder. Extensions may be negotiated when necessary. Only if required will unpaid invoices be transferred to a debt collection agency, though mutually agreed extensions are always preferred.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, either by email or via Brightlife Flow.
Cancellations made later than 24 hours before the session, or no-shows, will be charged the full session fee.
This applies to all clients (both self-paying and Kela-supported), as Kela does not reimburse missed appointments.
Please notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule.
5. Switching to Online Sessions
In the case of a sudden but mild illness (e.g., flu), an in-person session can be switched to an online session. Please notify us as soon as possible via email or Brightlife Flow. This applies to both client and therapist.
Clients may also request to switch an in-person session to online at any time.
On occasion, all sessions may be moved online for a limited time (1–4 weeks). Clients will be notified well in advance.
Sessions are held weekly by default. Clients will be informed in advance of any absences due to holidays or travel.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
All information shared in sessions is confidential and handled in accordance with Finnish health care regulations and data protection laws (including GDPR). Exceptions apply only when:
There is a legal obligation to report (e.g., risk of serious harm to self or others)
The client has given explicit written consent
Records are requested by a legal or supervisory authority with proper legal grounds
By law, electronic health records (EHR) must be kept in Kanta Services. To honor the sensitive nature of psychotherapy, this is done with minimal information and never includes sensitive or explicit content. We use Brightlife Flow for client data management and Kanta access. Brightlife Flow is a secure, Valvira A1-certified EHR system.

7. Professional Boundaries
Psychotherapy is a professional, therapeutic relationship. To protect its integrity:
We do not engage in dual relationships (e.g., friendships, business or romantic relationships with clients).
Communication outside sessions is limited to scheduling, practical matters or agreed-upon follow-up.
Social media interaction with clients is not permitted.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Arrive on time and prepared for sessions
Take responsibility for their healing journey, while allowing space for trial, error, learning and growth—it is always okay to be human
Communicate openly and honestly, especially if challenges arise within the therapeutic process or relationship
Reach out between sessions only for urgent or practical matters. In emergencies, clients must contact emergency services (112).
Therapy is most effective when entered into with mutual respect, commitment and presence.
9. Rights to Decline or Refer
We reserve the right to:
Decline or discontinue therapy for clinically relevant reasons, such as when needs fall outside our scope, when the therapeutic fit is not supportive or when resources are inadequate for therapeutic work
Refer the client to a more suitable practitioner or service if needed
Discontinue therapy respectfully if therapeutic fit or safety is compromised
Such decisions are always made with care and in the client’s best interest.
10. Intellectual Property & Website Use
All written content, materials and resources on this website are the intellectual property of Wise Wolf Therapeutics unless otherwise credited. Unauthorized use, copying or distribution is prohibited.
You may not use our website or contact forms for spam, solicitation or illegal activity.
11. Updates to Terms
We may revise these terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website. Clients will be notified of any major changes.
