A. Psychotherapy Services

2. Services & Availability
We offer individual psychotherapy (online/in-person) and Kela-supported rehabilitative psychotherapy (ages 16–67). All work adheres to Finnish healthcare laws and ethical guidelines. Availability is approx. 40 weeks/year.

3. Booking & payment
Booking and patient records are managed via Brightlife Flow (strong authentication).

Invoicing: Invoicing is handled according to the current price list. Invoices are sent monthly via email with a 14-day payment term. A legally required payment reminder will be sent for delayed payments. If necessary, payment terms can be negotiated, but significantly overdue payments will be legally transferred to debt collection.

4. Cancellation Policy (Therapy)
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance (via email or Brightlife Flow).

Late cancellations and no-shows are charged at the full session rate. This applies to Kela clients as well, as Kela does not reimburse missed sessions.

5. Session Modality & Remote Periods
Remote-Only Periods: My operating model includes occasional remote work periods, typically lasting 1–4 weeks at a time. During these periods, all sessions—including those usually held in-person—will be moved online (Brightlife Flow). Clients will be notified of these periods well in advance.

Illness: In cases of mild illness (e.g., flu), in-person sessions can be switched to online at short notice. This possibility applies to both the client and the therapist.

6. Confidentiality & Kanta
All discussions are confidential. Mandatory patient records are archived electronically in the Kanta service. Entries are kept minimal to respect the confidentiality of the therapeutic relationship. Please refer to Privacy Policy.

7. Professional Boundaries
We do not engage in dual relationships (friendships, business) with therapy clients. Communication outside sessions is limited to practical scheduling. Social media interaction with clients is also prohibited.

8. Right to Discontinue Care
We reserve the right to refer a client elsewhere or respectfully discontinue care if: 
(a) the client's needs exceed our resources or scope of outpatient therapy, 
(b) the therapeutic alliance is not viable, 
(c) there is repeated non-payment of fees or 
(d) there is a persistent lack of commitment to the therapeutic process and practicing skills between sessions.
